Ripe pear leads here — Conference pear, honey and fresh sugar cane, with baking chocolate, walnut and gentle spice underneath. It's an agricole with a softer, more pastry-like side than most, rounded out by cask time. Several tasters compared the fruit to Beenleigh. A lovely pour, though a few felt it could use more power to really finish long.

With a medium to long finish this is a very nice rum. Very fruity and rounded taste wit spices. I like the smoky oak on the palate with chocolate. This one was wonderful on the nose this morning :-)
