23.02.2024 Enjoying some samples at home while relaxing. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, light medicinal, light citrus, spice, light floral. Palate Round, light wood, faint smoke, fruits, light medicinal, light honey, dried fruit, light floral, medium dry. Finish Medium to long, round, light wood, faint smoke, medium dry, fruits, light citrus, light floral, faint iodine.

Rockley Tasting 1986/87/2000 Nr.3 nach den beiden Cadenheads 15y und 18y aufgrund seinen 11y doch etwas weniger komplex.

Ungewöhnlicher 1986er West Indies-Vertreter - kaum Honig, dafür schwingt neben den tropischen Früchten und Gewürzaromen eine leichte floral-parfümierte Süsse mit, die meines Erachtens recht eigenständig ist im Rockley-Universum. Für mich in der Gesamtschau dennoch kein Überflieger, unabhängig von Rockley-Assoziationen.
