The Demon’s Share
Drier than you might expect from the dramatic bottle and the sweeter Demon's Share 9, this Panama 12-year leans on vanilla, caramel and toasted nuts, with red apple and chocolate showing up too. The bourbon cask comes through clearly. Most find it easy and pleasant, though a few pick up an odd note in the finish they can't quite place.
The community says- Vanilla and caramel
- Woody from age
- Slightly too sweet

How does The Demon’s Share taste?
Aggregated from 88 community reviews.
Soft, woody Panama sipper with vanilla-caramel Well-liked as an easy sipper: vanilla, caramel and oak with a woody backbone from the 12 years. A couple of tasters flag it as slightly too sweet and note a strange lingering aftertaste.

Very tasty if you like sweet, fruity rum. For me even better than the normal Deamon's Share. My favorite rum at the moment

A good rum, with vanilla, caramel and roasted nuts on the nose, followed by chocolate on the palate. For me, however, this rum is a tad too sweet and somehow has a strange aftertaste.

#4420 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Sweet and fruity with a light citrus note. Caramel and roasted notes are coming out after resting. A bit rough around the edges.

Much drier than the 9, but that doesn't count as a rum either, this one does. The bourbon cask comes through clearly. The sherry cask is a much better fit as a finish. Pleasant thing

Fine, interesting, medium sweetness in my opinion

A good rum to drink alone. I can taste vanilla, caramel, wood, only in the very finish something disturbs, otherwise fine 👍

On The Rocks: On the nose moderate brown sugar and red apple notes with a hint of oak. Taste reveals a definite brown sugar, caramel, red apple, vanilla and some oak starting sweet and going a little bitter. It coats your mouth slightly with the brown sugar and red apple sweetness lingering. Finish is long with that red apple and brown sugar hanging in there. There is something in the finish that lingers that I can’t put my finger on that is a little weird. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose
