The Nectar Worthy Park Special Barrel Series WPL 2014
Sipped neat, this is Worthy Park in its milder, fruitier mode: pineapple and citrus peel on the nose, then a taste that goes hard on banana — fresh, green and baked — with salted caramel, allspice and a little black tea. One taster nailed the WP house style as "breakfasty" with buttered toast and coffee. Easygoing for a 56% pot still, if a touch simple.

How does The Nectar Worthy Park Special Barrel Series WPL 2014 taste?
Aggregated from 21 community reviews.
Fruity, banana-heavy Worthy Park, easy but simple Most people enjoy it: fruity, banana-forward, alcohol well integrated. The recurring gripe is a lack of complexity and a short finish — a couple prefer the punchier 3-year for its funk.

Review by Rare Akuma
Fruity nose with tropical salad, citrus peels, blackberry and a blend of red fruits. It smells sweet of deep, dark molasses, lightly spiced with a smidgen of allspice. The experience stays very fresh and cool, welcoming like iced-tea on a hot summer night. The taste is very banana forward. The berries and sour cherries mostly disappear in a plethora of fresh-, green-, and baked banana. We continue with salted caramel followed by allspice and malt. Like most WPs it’s ‘breakfasty’ with buttered toast, coffee and tea. Lightly smoky, and eventually cool and refreshing on the back palate with herbal notes. This is an excellent depiction of the quality WP can achieve and that it isn’t just a Jamaican underdog. The alcohol is integrated very well and all flavours are neatly presented.

Very fruity with tons of pineapple and a lot of ester. In taste sweeter than I expected with a slightly woody finish.

Purchased yesterday and tried immediately. Fruity, dry and smooth. SUPER! 😍 Worthy Park has never disappointed me so far. Will be degusted and replenished more often.

Very good Worthy Park! No off notes, alcohol well integrated. Perhaps lacking some complexity.
Review by Thunderbird
This WP is milder and more pleasing than the 3-year-old, but in contrast it lacks the cheeky funkiness! In comparison, the 3-year-old is definitely the better rum for me!

Belle porte d'entrée pour un WP.. Ce 6 ans est plutôt bien fait..

Unfortunately, I don't like it any more than the WPL. Apparently I'm not the biggest WP fan ¯_(ツ)_/¯
