Ron Botran Rare Blend Guatemalan Oak

Sip nethis at 40%, it drinks soft and easy — a lot of oak up front with caramel, vanilla and a bit of dried fruit behind it. The body is thin, so it never gets big or hot, and there's a light coffee note on the short finish. Several tasters find it pleasant but "average," a wood-forward sipper that's been lightly sweetened rather than a flavor bomb.

A very woody rum. The oak flavors dominate the taste profile with some dried fruits and a bit of vanilla to support it. But with a pricetag of around 80 to 90€ too expensive for what you get imo.
