#6185 03.01.2025 Relaxing in the cold weather with a few nice samples. Watching the TV series Body Cam. Nose Fresh, intense, spice, light olive, varnish, fruity, light citrus, light caramel, wood. Palate Warm, wood, peppery, fruits, pineapple, banana, light chocolate, varnish, faint coconut. Finish Long and warm, wood, spicy, pineapple, light caramel. Empty glass Light sour, vanilla, light chocolate, pineapple, coconut.

Beautiful nose and quite a lot of wood in the taste for such a "not old" rum. In the finish then unfortunately a tangy note that clouds the overall picture somewhat.thanks for the sample of this rare bottle!

One of my favorite rums and one of the best Wedderburn expression I’ve ever tried. Intense but refined. If you enjoy Clarendon rum, this is a fantastic bottle you won’t regret.

Complex nose, intensity, apple, some caramel, and ethanol waves highlighting some power and raw ompf. The mouth is well balanced, spice with some garden mint and strawberry that fades into a more subtle and layered finish. Panache but not memorable intensity. Enjoyable, long, layered, expresso, sugar, and some spice. A solid Clarendon but not thing to blow you away
