The Nectar Travellers The Nectar Of The Daily Drams 2007
Most people land in the same spot: a classic Belize Travellers profile of coconut, vanilla, caramel and milk chocolate that several tasters compare to Barbados rum. The catch shows up on the palate — the 62.6% alcohol isn't fully tucked in, so there's a real burn and even an unusual sourness for some. A few drops of water calms it and opens the coconut-and-wood core.

For me a very good and drinkable rum, similar in taste to Barbados. Wood, coconut, caramel play the main role in the aroma and taste. I enjoyed the finish the most, which warmed up nicely and showed the strength of the alcohol..although I am not a fan of high proof rums, this one was a pleasant surprise.

This rum is just short of excellent. I've found that a few drops of water really helps this rum to open up and reduces the alcohol burn a bit. I am already looking forward a pouring my next glasses. Simultaneously, I am already dreading the day that I'm pouring the final drops of this delicious nectar...

Nekomplikovaný rum z Belize, klasické kombo dřevo, kokos, vanilka, v dochuti čokoláda.

Solider Belize. Wie immer. Alkohol hintenraus deutlich spürbar. Schöne Haselnuss Note

Classic profile from Belize, reminiscent of Barbados, but comes along a bit more balanced. Not entirely perfectly integrated alcohol, which provides an explanatory basis for the bottlings in the 50 volume percent range; apart from that, another beautiful representative from the Travellers Distillery.

When it comes to the 2007 Belize, the RA still sets the standard for me. Although the Nectar Of The Daily Dram brings the typical characteristics of the distillery, the last little bit (slightly alcoholic notes) is missing to be able to pass the RA or CDI Bottled for Perola.
