Aroma visualization from community tastings
Rum Nation Hampden Jamaica Supreme Lord VII C<>H 1990
You might expect 45% to feel weak on a 23-year Hampden, but tasters keep calling this drinking strength perfectly judged and rounded. Expect a pile of yellow tropical fruit — mango, pineapple, peach — with the wild esters underneath and a light earthy, faintly smoky edge. A couple of people flag more honeyed sweetness on the palate than they'd like, but most find it elegant and balanced.

A drinking strength to fall in love with! Insanely round and harmonious. At the same time, but still the typical Jamaica / ester notes. Sensational!

Reference drinking strength Hampden! absolute essence and extremely delicious!
Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
This is a wonderful release. A very well balanced and elegant rum with nice fruit and spices. The esters are there and there is also a light earthy note. ABV is really well integrated and the overall profile is close to perfect. The empty glass has a very light smoky touch.

Mild but extraordinary tasty rum with great Long Pond profile
Review by Jakob
Hampden-typical fruit notes, complemented on the palate by a surprisingly intense sweetness aroma, reminiscent of honey and sugared licorice. A bit too much sweetness, otherwise
