TRC Diamond (Port Mourant) Guyana (Hampden Cask Finish) MPM 2008
The twist here: a Port Mourant from Guyana finished in Hampden casks, so it drinks more like a Jamaican than a Demerara. Ester, pineapple, banana and prickly citrus lead, with PM's spice underneath and a roasted edge. At 60.3% the heat shows late. Several tasters couldn't tell where Guyana ended and Jamaica began — the fun of the bottle for some, the flaw for others.

Aggregated from 38 community reviews.
Hampden-finished Port Mourant, drinks Jamaican Most enjoy this PM-meets-Hampden mashup and pour it often, though a few feel the Hampden cask flattens the Guyana character and reads simply as a tasty Jamaican.
