Romdeluxe Ten Cane Wild Series Rum No. 11 (Rombo) 2008
Anyone who chases dry, spice-forward Trinidad rum will find a lot to like here. Pineapple and orange on the nose, then coffee, caramel and a heavy hit of cinnamon on the palate, with toasted oak and red berries running underneath. A couple of tasters even caught a "hint of Caroni" — light rubber and smoke. The finish is long and dry, though the alcohol at 61.5% can read a touch hot and the nose stays a bit closed.
The community says- Loads of cinnamon spice
- Long dry finish
- But: Slightly closed nose

Dry, spicy Trinidad rum with faint Caroni edge Well-liked cask-strength Ten Cane: spicy, oaky and fruity with a whisper of Caroni. Most call it complex and balanced; a few note a closed nose and slightly integrated heat.

A rum full of red fruits and spices, paired with wood. A little furry on the palate. The alcohol is well integrated. Burnt sugar on the finish with the aromas mentioned earlier. All in all, very tasty, but somehow also closed. See delicious, thank you @Gunnar

On the nose, a pineapple note that I often detect in Ten Cane. In addition, there is a great spice with lots of cinnamon. However, the alcohol could be a little better integrated. Intense and spicy on the palate. Berry fruit notes come in and bring a nice contrast to the spice. An endless finish. Great Ten Cane!

A very nice rum from the defunkt Ten Cane destillery. Light oak and spices from nose to finish and there is hint of Caroni actually which is not bad. I like the spices mixed with the fruit. Well balanced and complex rum.

8,6:On the nose, fresh, grassy molasses, toasted oak, smoky, spicy with allspice, fruits like banana, pineapple, orange, raspberry, some rubber, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, green fruits join, the fruits are fermented, the wood burnt with caramel, pastry, medicinal with iodine and the molasses slightly flowery, vegetal. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is fruity with berries, banana, dried fruits, plums, candied fruits, warm, the oak is toasted with caramel/butterscotch, leather, coffee, spicy and smoky, as the molasses is dark, minty, earthy with cigar tobacco, black tea, vegetal with coriander...some burnt rubber is also present. 8,5:The finish is long, dry&tannic, with notes from the palate lingering on. Edit:19.8.26

lækker - Caroni light

Coffee, caramel and cinnamon seems dominating to with quite a bit of oak as well. Maybe even cedar wood. A great glass of rum, which is at its best when landing on the palate. The nose is a little closed and the aftertaste could be longer, which hold it back from being an absolute must. A great Ten Cane nne the less.

RX21611 Beautiful Ten Cane. Chocolate, wood, roasted, red fruits, touch of herbals/mint. Everything I need from top Ten Cane. Everything is well rounded here and this is the best of the three compared here. RX8846 The nose is nice combination of roasted, chocolate and woody notes. I get touch of citrusy notes with red apple that bring bit of freshness to balance the dark notes. The taste is sweetier than the other two but not overwhelming. RX10418 The nose is bit flat for me. Overall seems sweetier due to notes of tropical fruits especially ripe banana that seems to me sort of misplaced here. The taste is spicier and bit technical and has alcoholic bite.
