only 73 bottles, 10 years of tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels, 55.9 ABV brut de fût, definitely sounds interesting! On the nose all sorts of spices like cardamom, allspice, maybe cumin. Next to that, a nice Agricole freshness mixed with dried apricot. The palate is also really fun: spicy, earthy, green peppers, honey. Only the alcohol could be a bit better integrated, but that's complaining on a high level.

Very nice Agricole. I guess a wine barrel that has marked the rum, perhaps a Sauternes style wine because the rum has a honeyed and sweet side. And since Bielle often does this type of maturation... It is very good for those who like this winey agricultural profile with a nice sweetness.

Intensives Bouquet, klassische Agricole-Noten von Zuckerrohr und Nüssen, herbe dunkle Gewürze, getrocknete Früchte, dezente erdige Aromen. Vielschichtig, auch wenn insbesondere die 2001er Releases nochmal etwas mehr Tiefe mitbringen - wir bleiben auf sehr hohem Niveau.
