Distilled 1998, 20 years old, from the closed Trinidad distillery.

Solid Caroni. After 30 minutes of breathing it opens, but the alcohol remains present. Relatively sweet and "crisp" on the palate. Fun.

Not a bad release and the price at release is not too bad in my mind. Light on the nose and warm on the palate. Some may say spicy on the palate but I like it. The dried fruit and vanilla becomes the overall profile very well in my mind.

Ve vůni mi přijde jemnější než předchozí Duchess Caroni, s menší porcí techničnosti, ale i tak voní moc pěkně. Chuťově nápodobně. Více ovoce, méně techničnosti. V závěru se ale na povrch dere gumovost. Dobré a zajímavé.
