Un autre rhum de l’embouteillage Suisse Origin R. Avec un nez herbacé, herbes amères, menthol léger mais rond et très agréable. La bouche est extraordinaire, la montée en puissance des arômes est progressive, ils tapissent la bouche avec du soyeux. La finale est sur le vermouth et un côté caramel. Elle est persistante mais tout en légèreté. L’alcool est parfaitement intégré. Ce rhum me fait penser à une cascade dans une forêt subtropicale avec plein de hautes herbes autour.

Schöne Nase. Ein vollmundiger Rum mit Vielfalt. Luft tut ihm gut, ist besser ausbalanciert. Kräutrig, würzig, medizinal. Im Abgang gesellen sich noch gelbe Früchte und Tabaknotrn dazu. Komplexer geiler Rum, der aber dennoch easy sipping ist.

12.06.2020 Relaxing over a nice lunch with friends and family and a few rums. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Fresh, wood, vanilla, apple, fruity, balanced. Palate Balanced, complex, wood, light roasted, tobacco, fruity, fruitcake. Finish Medium to long, wood, tobacco, dried fruit, light chocolate.

This is amazing stuff! A full bodied, warm and intense rum. Both on nose and palate the alcohol and the cask is very good integrated, with a presence that is always there but never dominant. A sweetness and fruitiness lingers above the alcohol and the wood. Plums and dried fruits, a subtle hint of cherry. It’s perfectly balanced. One of the best rums in a while

Encore du 55°... Au secours...Ah... Ben non... Le nez floral de la canne à sucre est bien présent ! Un bonheur... On pourrait passer la soirée rien que le nez. En bouche vous avez le floral en premier puis l'alcool qui disparaît relativement vite et la douceur arrive avec des effluves douces de boisé. Une excellente fin de bouche avec des effluves équilibrées que vous avez trouvées en bouche mais tout en finesse. Encore un coup de coeur.
