Bielle Canne Genou Cassé
Sip this one neat and give it room — at 59% it's warm and a little rough on the attack, but that's where the character lives. Fresh sugarcane, citrus zest and a genuinely surprising iodine-salty streak, with anise, roasted hazelnut and an earthy, leathery finish. Several tasters call it one of Bielle's most distinctive whites; a couple find the anise and the raw kick too much.

How does Bielle Canne Genou Cassé taste?
Aggregated from 40 community reviews.
Punchy, saline agricole blanc with hazelnut Most rate it a characterful, unusual agricole blanc — sugarcane, hazelnut, citrus and a saline edge. The catch: a rough, powerful attack and heavy anise split opinion.

Super intense, roasted hazelnut, bitter orange and lemon peel, but above all hazelnut. Very cool. One of the most extraordinary agricole blancs I've ever tasted!

Very nice white rum from Bielle once again, really nice with a profile of its own!

A round and fat rum
Review by Émile Shevek

Good but not my favorite white rum from Bielle.
Review by Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪
On the nose: sweet fresh cane, fruity-oily with a hint of dried fruit. The nose is somewhat more restrained than the Baltazia. A touch of anise and saltiness complete the nose. The attack on the palate is again powerful, even a little rough, less spicy than the Baltazia and more fruity (apple-pear), more earthy. The finish is on almond and leather, but is less persistent than the Baltazia. Personally, as with the Baltazia, I regret the rough attack on the palate. In comparison, I prefer the Baltazia to the Genou Cassé because the Baltazia has more length.
