Velier Hampden Trelawny Endemic Birds (Lizard Cuckoo) 2011
"A nice light vanilla and sweet fruits nose without overwhelming esters," as one taster put it — this is a gentler, rounder Hampden. Banana, tropical fruit and vanilla up front, then the palate turns estery and chemical with wood and spice, finishing warm with a hit of dark chocolate. A few members note bitterness and an oddly smooth, muted profile for a Hampden this strong.

Sehr runder, leicht fruchtiger Hampden.

K tomuhle ptáčkovinse vracím po několika měsících podruhé, a bohužel ho to bude stát pár bodů hodnocení, protože mám víc s čím srovnat. Opět se objevuje hořkost, a takový divný odchod v hrdle, opět takové zbytečně moc uhlazené.
