A long time since the first tasting. The rating remains identical. A good easy sipper, very sweet for a T.D.L, with vanilla and burnt sugar. For the price at the time, an absolute recommendation.

Nase recht verhalten, im Mund dann kräftiger. Mit der Zeit kommen schöne Pfirsich-Fruchtnoten durch. Ein entspannterer TDL, finde ich gut weil man ihn häufiger trinken kann als die von anfang der 2000er

This is not a very dirty TDL. The nose is very soft and sweet with a hint of burntness, but mainly milk or whey - this is rather unusual and not just pleasant. There's also some dried fruit and very ripe cantaloupe melon. The mouth is still quite young: lots of fruit and a slight acidity turns the milk into yoghurt. The vegetal side, especially the mint, is completely missing 😢. Instead, there is a Christmassy side: Ginger, roasted almonds and coriander seeds. The finish is rather short, but brings some smokiness. At only 11 years old, it lacks a little complexity and depth. Nevertheless, it is an intense, harmonious rum that walks the line between Spanish and English style, similar to Barbados. Certainly something I will drink more often.

Farbe: Bernstein Geruch: Sehr süß und aromatisch. Alkoholisch-fruchtig mit Tabak und Toffee Aromen. Sauber ohne Fehlnoten. Geschmack: Zuerst süß im Mund mit Vanille, dann alkoholisch scharf. Beim Schlucken sehr würzig mit Toffee und Karamell. Zudem bei dem Alkoholgehalt natürlich alkoholisch-scharf. Abgang: Lang Alkoholisch, Toffee, würzig-scharf, altes Holz. Schwach bitter im Nachgeschmack. Fazit: lecker, ohne Fehler 85 Punkte

Superbe ce tdl 🤩🤩 Belle rondeur, vanille caramel dominent avec les épices et le boisée. Peu ou presque pas de menthol ce qui n’est pas pour me déplaire. Alcool parfaitement intégré Longueur moyenne à longue. 😍😍

Interessanter Tropfen, untypischer TDL, aber nicht schlecht. Er erinnert mich eher an einen Blend aus Foursquare und Beenleigh. Die 65,7% lassen sich nicht verstecken. Nach mehreren Schlucken und im Abgang kommen auch ein paar TDL Gene durch, nur die typische Mentholnote fehlt gänzlich. Mit gefällt er sehr gut, mal was anderes.😉
