#9 Club of Enjoyment Xmas-Calendar. Nose: overwhemling fruit schnaps note, pear, cognac Mouth: fruit schnaps, fruity, pear, cherry, sour, candied fruits, peaches Finish: Medium, dry, woody, caramel, roasted Prediction: ?!?!, <5 years, 45%. Buh… rather a disgusting pear-fruit schnaps than a daily driver….Just not that type of rum I like to drink.

Der ist irgendwie kaum zu fassen und damit auch schwer zu bewerten. Anfangs habe ich den Rum solo verkostet und da hätte ich ihn fast durchfallen lassen, er war mir wieder zu sehr beim (objektiv nicht vorhandenen) Whisky und einer gewissen Schärfe. Dann habe ich ihn noch mal lange atmen lassen und einen Vergleichsrum (Feller Port Cask, RX20108) hinzugezogen - und siehe da: doch bemerkbar mehr Charakter als der Vergleichsrum. Insofern bekommt er auch ein paar subjektive Pünktchen mehr als jener.

Die Nase erinnert sofort an einen traubenbrand wie cognac oder armagnac. Am Gaumen kommt dazu eine leichte whisky-note. Alkohol gut integriert. Läuft so mit würde meine Oma sagen, was nicht herausragend bedeutet
