Lamb's Lamb's 100 Navy Rum HMS Warrior
Here's the surprise: at 57% this drinks far gentler than the number suggests — several tasters guessed 40-45% because the alcohol is so well folded in. Expect dark Guyana character: wood, burnt sugar, coffee, dark chocolate and a few dried fruits, with a subtle sweetness and an oily, almost chewable texture. The catch most people agree on is a short finish and not much depth.

Aggregated from 25 community reviews.
Dark, roasty Guyana Navy, easy despite 57% Well-liked dark, woody, spice-forward Guyana Navy with beautifully integrated alcohol. Most enjoy it; the recurring gripe is a short finish and thinner complexity than top Navy rums.

Day 4 of TheDunderHuts departed Easter calendar. Guyana was burned into my brain during the blind tasting. But I was sure it wasn't that simple. Had a flash of inspiration with Navyrum on the second sip, for whatever reason. Conclusion Very nice piece, with well integrated alcohol, there are better ones, but also far worse ones. More like the easy sipper Navy. Thanks to TheDunderHut for the great sample.

The wacky Easter calendar day 4 A very spicy rum today. First nose I thought Guyana or Trinidad lots of dark aromas like dried plum, mocha and burnt sugar ... Taste very similar to the nose. The profile seems very familiar to me. Alcohol I would have estimated around 40-45%... top integrated.

Good navy rum that lacks some complexity for a top rating. Quite short finish. Who stands on dark, roasty and chocolaty rums has fun here but in any case.
Review by DomM
Dark Guyana notes all over. A bit sweetness on the palate works very well, accentuating dried fruits against the backdrop of wood, burnt sugar, dark chocolate and coffee notes.

Tasted again as part of the strange (but interesting) Easter rum calendar, No. 4. I stand by my rating. Sprightly, woody, spicy, dry fruits in the background and enough sweetness. Not the top class of navy rums, but OK.

A Navy Rum of the dark spicy woody side; pleasant to drink, but lacks some complexity and depth! The finish is relatively short
Review by Skyfly
Great Guyana rum that lives up to the name of a navy rum. Lots of wood, roasted and vanilla aromas, plus dried fruit and burnt sugar. Coffee and espresso notes on the palate - really good!

Nice spicy aroma, light fruit, herbs. Very round and dark! Taste is sweetish, woody, very spicy with a strong, slightly herbal but too short finish. Alcohol is well integrated. I like it very much!

Very interesting texture that you almost want to chew. Heavy aging notes are prominent, together with molasses and some fruits and flowers. Leather, anise and herbs; the PM marque must have been there. Extremely tannic!

A beautiful piece of rum history. The superbly integrated alcohol and the very oily consistency stand out positively, but the lack of Jamaica and Trinidad is clearly noticeable due to a lack of sophistication and complexity. A nice drop, but the classic navy rums are more appealing to me.

Dark navy rum with lots of flavor of caramel coloring and coffee but also nice licorice and some dried fruit. Quite nice but not as nice as the bottle.
Review by Alexander Rasch
A dark rough Navy rum. Distinct roasted aromas that go to the burnt. Exciting but there can, for example, the Black Tot 2022, which is also dark, significantly more. Nevertheless, exciting Guyana Rum.

This is a rather rare pure guyanan lamb's. A really powerhouse with loads of swr feel. Superb alcohol integration. I really like this and this rocks as a drink. Char and smoke, subtle sweetness, alcohol that packs a punch
