As always, a great time with this New Grove. Plenty of fruit, a salty, mentholated edge, a nice, sustained but not overpowering woodiness, one of brown sugar/brassade. The only downside was the slightly watery texture, but otherwise it was perfect.

Still quite restrained on the nose. Like a hill on the palate: a strong, bitter start, a fruity, spicy zenith and a lemony, marzipan finish. Surprisingly complex. Very pleasing.

Extremely pleasant, easy-drinking rum. Dominantly fruity on the nose and palate, with yellow peach and apricots, counterbalanced by slightly piquant spices. Slight bitterness on the finish, with a hint of wood. Medium finish, very fruity, a little peppery, ending on a slightly vanilla apricot, reminiscent of the first nose. Very good value for money.

Odor: Fruity sweet ... Smells of tropical fruit (papaya, mango) and dried fruit (apricot), also mirabelle plum. Further aromas of caramel, vanilla and sugar cane. Taste: Fruity sweet with vanilla in the mouth, becomes slightly spicy with time. Spicy on the swallow with sandalwood aromas and shoe polish. Fruity components of apricot and papaya. Finish: Long, dry and spicy with aromas of leather and dried fruit (apricot). Conclusion: A great rum - very fruity and delicious.
