Flowers, grass and chamomile lead the nose here — one taster even called it almost Chartreuse-like, all alpine herbs and gentian. There's a mild sweetness of mango and banana underneath, and at 49.4% it stays surprisingly gentle. The palate turns markedly herbal and vegetal, which is where opinions divide: several find it a touch too planty, while others rank it among their favorite Clairins.

Comparative series of Ansyen Clairins. A very alpine nose with genepi and gentian, very floral almost a Chartreuse. In the mouth the gentian comes back with its bitterness, but also aromatic plants. The finish is short and bitter with gentian.blind not sure this is a rum! Regouté and I raised the note a bitThanks Dr. Django for the sample.

Clairin Cosstasting Vol. 2 mit Sajous 22 Monate (RX7920) Vaval 22 Monate (RX7929) Die Nase ist toll. Gelbes Steinobst, Veilchen, Blüten, etwas Richtung Parfum, aber nicht so intensiv und keinesfalls unangenehm oder gar künstlich. Eine angenehme Süße von Mango und Bananen. Am Gaumen auch sehr überzeugend. Auch hier eindeutig pflanzlich, muss auch hier wieder an (Rosen-)Blüten denken, vielleicht aufgrund der Nase und einer Erwartungshaltung. Eine milde Süße nach Honig und Zuckerrohr und tropische Früchte. Der Fasseinfluss bildet hier einen schönen Gegenpol zur Süße. Trotz der 49,4% erstaunlich intensiv. Gehört definitiv zu meinen bisherigen Lieblings-Clairins. Hat auch zum vergreifen Sieger Le Rocher aus der Erinnerung heraus deutlich die Nase vorne. Auch wenn sie so verschieden sind werde ich beide nochmal direkt vergleichen.

Die Nase gefällt mir echt gut. Ist irgendwie sehr blumig, sehr grasig, kommt richtig frisch und geschmeidig daher. Am Gaumem dann aber etwas enttäuschen, hier schmeckt er mir etwas zu sehr nach Kräutern und Pflanze.
