Trois Rivières Oman 1999

"Lovely fruity and elegant agricole" is how one taster summed it up, and that's the through-line here: yellow fruit like mirabelle and apricot, a light grassy vegetal edge, gentle baking spice and a well-integrated oak. Several people note the low-ish ABV makes it easy to sip, but a few also found the body thin and watery, wishing for more punch.

The community says
  • Yellow fruit, fresh
  • Elegant, balanced
  • But: Thin body

Fruity, elegant agricole, a touch thin Well-made, elegant Martinique agricole full of yellow fruit and soft oak. Most enjoy it as an easy sipper; the common gripe is a thin, slightly watered-down palate that could use more strength.

RumX Advent Calendar, day 16. A beautiful nose with all kinds of fruit, a fresh, vegetal side. Perfectly integrated wood. The palate is superb, with all the fruit of the nose. All the fruit is also present on the elegant finish, with a lovely acidity at the very end.

RumX Kalender 2024 Day 16: Röstnoten, Leder, dazu Holz & Kräuter.
