Nordlichter treffen, danke w00tan für das Urlaubsmitbringsel Ich finde den Havana 3 schon nicht schlecht, aber dieser hier war nochmal überraschend gut, trotz nur 40% Florale Nase à la Havana 3, nur geiler. Und im Geschmack angenehm gelbfruchtig Und Lukas hat nen hervorragenden Mojito draus gezaubert, da hat der rum sich sehr gut drin gemacht.

#4611 09.02.2024 Nordlichter treffen. This was a huge surprise because the bottle and the colour looked very subtle and uninteresting. This one should be a great mixer, but it's also really nice as a sipper. Nose Faint wood, floral, mint, citrus. There was a perfume like note to it. Palate Faint wood, fruity, floral, naturally sweet, warm, light. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruity, warm.

Zum ersten mal beim Nordlichter Treffen probiert, jetzt meine letzten 2 cl - Danke an w00tan Dieser Rum war eine echte Überraschung, die anhält, wo ich ihn jetzt ein zweites mal eingießen. Tatsächlich ein beinahe raumgreifendes Bouquet, was bei einem so jungem Kubaner doch überrascht. Die blumige Nase ist geprägt von gelben Kernobst (Quitte), Schokolade und weißen Mandeln. Im Mund ist er cremig und bei 40% sehr weicht -eine leichte Alkoholnote ist trotzdem zu spüren. Aromatisch bleibt er sich treu, aus dem Kernobst wird eine Obstlernote. Die leichten pflanzlichen Aromen aus dem Mund finden sich wieder - schmeckt nach Zuckerrohr. Der Abgang ist eher kurz und unspektakulär, es gibt eine leicht medizinische Note, frische Kräuter, Bitterkeit von Gewürzen bei bleibender Fruchtigkeit. Der Mojito, den wir mit ihm gemacht haben war ausgezeichnet und das ist vermutlich auch sein eigentlicher Zweck. Gäbe es diesen Rum hier zu kaufen, hätte ich vermutlich immer eine Flasche offen. Es ist kein Rum-Wunder, aber der beste spanische weiße Rum, den ich bisher probiert habe.

Floral, light, smells and tastes a bit like fruit brandy. Very fresh and round and quite tasty for a Havana. Of course a bit entertaining overall, but proof that the colleagues can do it when they want to. We also had this in a perfect mojito. Thanks to Lukas for that!

Tolle florale Nase, helle Früchte / Quitte. Am Gaumen auch sehr fruchtig und komplex für seine 40%. Im Abgang fehlt ihm dann die Power, er wird dann schnell recht wässrig, es bleibt etwas Holz. Für seine 40% sehr gut. Macht einen wirklich schönen Mojito.
