Dry, woody Guyana for patient sippers Well-made, dry Guyanese rum with pleasant fruit, wood and light smoke, but the strong alcohol presence and somewhat thin, muted palate keep it from really shining for most reviewers.
Fans of dry, traditional Guyanese rums who like higher ABV, subtle smoke and are curious about Diamond/Port Mourant style without added sweetness.
Beginners, those sensitive to alcohol burn, or drinkers seeking rich sweetness and lush complexity from a long-aged sipper.

Very mild and pleasantly sweet on the nose, slightly syrupy. This is paired with fruit, some wood and a slight hint of smoke. On the palate very pleasantly fruity, spicy, vanilla, plus wood and again very slightly smoky.

To be honest, I would have rated this rum much higher, but it can't do much. The young age may make you feel like you're being taken for a ride, but don't fall for it, it needs to be stored for longer. That's just the way it is :-)

I thought I recognized Port Mourant. Fruit, wood and discreetly smoky. But due to the spührbaren alcohol relatively heavy. Even with water, the alcohol and its heaviness remains very present. Not my rum, it comes relatively little fun while drinking.
