A little Abuelo tasting. Somehow I like this rum. A nice vanilla and caramel note here too. Slightly sweet, but completely ok. Not quite as good as the previous two, but still better than the classic average rum.

I like the fruity nose a little better than the complex but average palate. More individual aromas develop in the finish. Nothing disturbs here, simple and delicious.

Extrem unangenehm. Gefällt mir gar nicht. Mich erinnert die gesamte geruchs/geschmackskombi an son schweres alte Damen Parfum. Sehr blumig, komisch parfumiert in der Nase. Dazu pfeffrig scharf und alkoholisch auf der Zunge. Also meins ist es überhaupt nicht.

A nice sipper. Nothing special but for the price it's really not bad at all. More woody than fruity. The taste and finish bring strong creme brulee notes for me.

A very sweet rum. Weak on the nose. The taste is mainly sweet, otherwise there is not much to taste. Then a slight roasted aroma in the short finish. All in all, a very one-sided rum for my taste.

A strong, woody, unsweet rum. With a bourbon/whisky finish. I didn't like it much on its own, but it's excellent for a short drink. 1:1 with cola/pepsi and ice. Great. (I'm a rumbeginner, not a pro)
