I love the Appleton flavor profile and this is where I get my money's worth. Like an Extra from the 1980s or a 21 Years on steroids. Extremely nice, extremely good, extreme tropical ripeness with no woodiness. A little water for drinking is necessary though. Certain similarities also with the Uitvlugt 1997 and similarly good. An absolute favorite rum!!! Thanks to Berlin! The appropriate music: Ken Boothe "Speak Softly Love".

Wow, this one sets off pretty wild and need to rest as well. After 15 minutes it's very nice on the nose. To release more notes i added a drop of water after which the fruits really started shining. On the palate you don't really need water but if you add a drop you also release more flavours. There is some smoky wood to this one and a hint of salt which I like in combination with the spice and fruits. Not your typical NY but I like the twist.

Do I taste coffee chocolate with drop of oil there...? Beautifully sweet, creamy, like caramel. A great choice for rummers who want to switch from sweet syrups to pure spirit. New Yarmouth 1994 rarely disappoints. This is a great choice that you will always want to come back to.

New Yarmouth 1994 is almost always very good. But this is one of my top representatives of this vintage and this distillery. Wonderful fruity nose and buttery biscuit, with coconut, some wood and a long finish. Wonderful!
