Christian de Montaguère Trois Rivières Private Vintage
Agricole drinkers who want an old, powerful Martinique rhum will feel at home here. It's woody and elegant with pepper, spice, some tobacco, and a bit of red or candied fruit underneath, finishing long with a light salty-mineral edge. Nearly everyone says the same thing: give it time in the glass. Straight from the pour at 55% it drinks tight and hot.

How does Christian de Montaguère Trois Rivières Private Vintage taste?
Aggregated from 28 community reviews.
Old, woody agricole that needs air Most tasters rate it highly — a powerful, well-balanced 15-year agricole with wood, pepper and a salty finish. The near-universal catch: it needs real air time to open up.
