Rum Nation Jamaica Rum Embassy N.1
Banana and coconut lead here, with dried fruit, cinnamon and a spicy pepper-and-chocolate edge from the long ageing. It's a 25-year blend of Jamaican marks — creamy, round, well balanced. The recurring gripe: the oloroso sherry finish sits heavy and the rum "von allem ein Bisschen" but never fully commits to a direction. Elegant, harmonious, and clearly built as a gift-grade sipper.

- Creamy, rounded body

How does Rum Nation Jamaica Rum Embassy N.1 taste?
Aggregated from 20 community reviews.
Creamy old Jamaican, sherry-heavy blend Most find it a creamy, fruity, harmonious old Jamaican. The two real catches: a dominant sherry finish some wish weren't there, and value people repeatedly question.

I just got this bottle and had to give it a run for its money. The fruitiness just oozes out of the bottle when you open it and it just gets better after resting in the glass. A well balanced blended rum with a touch of barrel on the palate. Now I'm waiting for the 30 year Versailles to arrive :-)

Interesting "LPCH", it works well together, but 50CL is a bit too little... hhh

Spicy, yet tasty with notes of pepper and chocolate
