Rum Nation Enmore Small Batch Rare Rums 2002
One taster called it "well balanced with islay cask," and that peat-meets-Guyana angle is the whole story here. Expect dried apricot, smoke, leather and a whisky-like anise note over heavy Enmore wood. Several people love how the peat stays dezent rather than swamping the rum; one found the smoke a step too far. A cask-strength 59% that wants a drop of water.

How does Rum Nation Enmore Small Batch Rare Rums 2002 taste?
Aggregated from 22 community reviews.
Smoky peated Enmore with dried apricot Most find this a balanced smoky Enmore, the Islay peat woven in rather than dominating. A couple felt the whisky finish tipped it — and it can lack sweetness.

Well balanced with islay cask. Not too heavy. Garden herbs.

Very delicious, balanced, interesting enmore with islay finishIn the nose: First impression: agricole with notes of green apples… but if you give it some time it opens up: enmore like🤪 Liquorice, barrel, tobacco, vanilla, peat glove, apricot. In the mouth: fruit schnaps, bitter, whiskey with notes of anise, tobacco, barrel, chocolate, leather, roatsted and peat. Dry, astrigend, smokyThe finish: delicious, oak(barrel), roasted, , salty, tobacco, earthy, anise. Enmore classic 😎

Eye-catching nose on sweet fruit, whisky. It gives envy. Very different mouth. Heavy, dirty, sweet, on the leather, with always the whisky present. I'm not used to this kind of rums.Finish quite long on even darker notes. Coffee, earth... It's still very good this stuff ! Edit : I tasted a lot of Guyana since my first tasting of this Enmore and this one still lacks greediness.

#4460 09.11.2023 Not too bad a rum bit not a great one either. Medium fruity with some spices and wood. There is a nice smoky note in the profile that goes well with the coffee and chocolate notes. There is a very faint peat touch on the profile. The empty glass has some caramel and leather to it. Æ

Oh, it's not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. There must have been a whiskey finish involved....
