Overall is this a sugar and vanilla bomb. If you concentrate yourself it’s possible to sense some smells and tastes of spices and fruits, but it’s impossible to sort them out cause the vanilla and sweetness overpowering everything.

Another rum sample I got from a rum advent calendar. I drank half of the samples in December and then forgot them for 7 months. When I first tasted then, the scores would have been significantly lower. Now months later finding them much more aromatic and flavorful. I don't think my nose and palette has changed so much during this time, so I think these rums really needed a lot of oxidation before coming to their full potential.

Very sweet, one-dimensional. A good gateway into rum, but much too sweet for sipping. Could pair well in a mixed drink or a rum and coke.
