Ron Colon Coffee Infused High Proof Rum
Dark-roast coffee runs the whole show here — espresso, cocoa and a whiff of smoke and tobacco over a dry, unsweetened El Salvador base at 55.5%. The oily texture rounds off the heat, but the coffee never lets up. Tasters call it an interesting, un-sugared take on spiced rum; a couple find it more burnt mocha than pleasant, and one thought it drifted toward fruit schnapps.

A dominant taste of coffe…in mouth is tastes more like a fruit schnaps… not very impressed

The coffee taste dominates from nose via palate to the medium long finish. But the coffee is not as bitter as it’s in the Green Label, maybe because of the higher ABV at 55,5%. Besides this I recognized, just as in the Green Label, chocolate and some sweetness.
