#6840 24.05.2026 Running a few evening samples while listening to some Psy Trance on Spotify. Price to quality this is a very good rum in my mind. Intense profile with nice wood, chocolate,fruits, ginger, spice, light metallic and some Graphite.

The Rum Mercenary – Black Label Port Mourant 2002-2020 (51,7 %) Un Port Mourant plus âgé, 18 ans au compteur cette fois. Nez Beaucoup plus puissant et complexe : métal, amertume, bois humide, chocolat noir, pommes, poires et une belle trame épicée. Bouche L’alcool est superbement intégré. L’ensemble reste très typé Port Mourant : boisé, métallique, avec une belle amertume maîtrisée. Finale Longue, très sèche et amère – un vrai concentré de PM dans toute sa splendeur. Conclusion Une version plus longue et plus intense que le 2005, mais toujours dans le registre attendu. Du grand classique.
