Kaniché Double Wood Perfección
Surprise here is the light tropical-fruit ester lift a few members didn't expect from an easy Panama sipper — one wondered aloud where it came from. Mostly it's vanilla, dried fruit, cinnamon and acacia honey, with a whisper of the cognac cask that finished it. Balanced and gentle, though a couple found it "ein bisschen zu süß." Comfortable rather than deep.

Sweet, easy Panama sipper with spice A well-balanced, sweetish Panamanian sipper most tasters find pleasant and easy. Not very complex, and a few call it a touch too sweet, but the spice and fruit are nicely done.

The rum is presented in a nice red wooden box with a sliding door, which is pretty neat considering the price. From the nose to the finish you have fruit and wonderful spices and though not super complex it has been balanced really well. You also get a hint of the cognac barrels used to finish this rum and I think that's a plus. Price to quality is very good.

Also an okay rum. I can taste coffee and cloves here. Actually pretty good for an average rum. Also far better than the Captain Morgan Spiced, for example :-)
