Barbancourt RA Haiti Rum 2004
Give it 30 minutes in the glass and it wakes up into a proper fruit bomb — mango, mandarin, dried apricot over cut grass, licorice and dark cocoa. One member sips it neat as a "Fruchtbombe," others knock a point off because the 58.9% heat isn't always tucked away cleanly. Cane-juice Barbancourt with real vegetal, mineral character.

Grassy, fruity Haitian cask-strength sipper Most tasters land around 8/10: fruity, grassy and dry with licorice and cocoa. The recurring gripe is that the alcohol sometimes bites, and a few wanted more depth.

After 30 minutes, the rum really takes off. 🚀
Review by Lukas Jäger
Positively surprised, a little alcoholic, but otherwise very tasty, with slightly fruity hints, hidden behind floral notes. Like most rums from the house RA worth a purchase.

Alkohol super eingebunden. Danke an Dr. Django für dieses Sample.

Verdict: dry, slightly peppery and clearly dark cocoa. With subtle honey sweetness to the pleasant drinking strength. However, a little complexity is missing.

Keine spezielle Geschmacksnote. Kann man kaufen
Review by Gregor
