Goûté rapidement, très sympa gourmand sur les épices douces, le caramel, la vanille et le boisé. Léger manque de puissance et de longueur mais très bon rhum.

For once, I didn't find the whisky impression of this rhum bad. However, the rhum tends to turn sour after a longer breath, so points deducted.

Exciting, complex profile, unfortunately just a bit thin. Nut, chocolate, tobacco, smoke, slight sweetness.

Color: chestnut (reddish brown) Aroma: Fresh and fruity with esters at the beginning. Then sweet with raisins and cake. Taste: Sweet in the mouth but a bit flat. When swallowing then spicy with toffee, caramel and wood - delicious. Finish: Medium long Spicy, dry and woody aftertaste. 83 points
