Phraya Deep Matured Gold Rum
That eye-catching gold-caged bottle sets up more drama than the rum inside delivers. Expect coconut, vanilla and soft caramel over a woody base — pleasant and easy, but several tasters call it flat and one-dimensional. There's a sharp, alcoholic bite up front that mellows midway. A tidy everyday Thai sipper, not one to dissect.

Aggregated from 75 community reviews.
Easy vanilla-coconut sipper, a bit flat Most find it a fine, simple vanilla-coconut sipper with its own character, but many call it flat, a touch hot, and unremarkable. Pleasant, rarely memorable.

Starts promising, but ends with a hiss. Very nice bottle.

People are perhaps a bit too critical. It’s really not bad, a fine simple sipper kind of rum with its own distinct taste profile which already puts it ahead of a lot of others in this price range.
Review by Tschusikowsky
Classic (industrial) standard rum profile. Relatively trivial but absolutely iO to drink

Légèrement vanillé un soupson de caramel - miel (au nez la première impression c'était les galettes de ma grand mère) et alors l'arôme reste assez longtemps en bouche
Review by Johannes
Not bad! A little flat, but nice notes of vanillin, cinnamon, coconut. Good starter rum.
Review by Rum mit Carlos

Quite spicy in taste, tastes like ghee (Indian clarified butter), the tanginess unfortunately masks most of the flavors
Review by M. Mark
It's quite a tasty basic rum. Pleasant vanilla aroma. The taste isn't definitely somehow gross, but it doesn't impress either. Easy shooting ☺️

Nice bottle, a change from the traditional rum, but doesn't leave me with an indelible memory.
Review by Mateusz
Deeper nose & flavour than elements.
