I had this rum for years and it's been one of my favourites spanish style rums. I just got a bottle (it's a pain to find it nowadays in Spain) and I will be sharing some updated impressions soon.

29.03.2014 Whiskymessen Met a few new rum guys that have stuck until this day. We all went back home to pick up some bottles that we shared at the event. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Light, light wood, citrus, sweet, faint coffee. Palate Light, light wood, round, sweet, fruits, light coffee, faint caramel, orange. Finish Short, light wood, faint smoke, orange, light coffee.

Found in a historic bar in Mallorca, the nose is not bad despite remaining light, there is something finely woody, sweet and toasty about it. The palate is fine and elegant, with extreme roundness but little power or depth. Caramel, coffee and chocolate stand out with a short, honeyed, toasted finish and some light spice.
