Kingsbury Port Mourant Port Morant Distillery Single Cask Demerara Rum PM 1975
Nearly everyone here lands in the same place: this is what a great old Port Mourant can do. Pop the cork and the room fills with dried plum — prunes, apricot, raisin — over charred wood, coffee and walnut. At 41 years and only 46% it stays remarkably dry, tannic and long, with just enough honey to round the finish. A touch of bitterness is the only quibble.

Little fruit, somewhat bitter, astringent, almost goes in the direction of Mount Gay, wood on the finish.
