Nosing Toffee, mango , liquorice & almonds Tasting Honey , cloves , toffee I had this neat and imagine it goes Fantastic in a cocktail due to its sweetness on the taste

Nose is mostly peaty but also vegetal, olive and black tea. The palate is dry and a little bitter and aside from a little peat I struggle to get much else. The finish remains dry and bitter. It comes across like a young peaty whiskey to me. The nose is interesting (although peaty flavours aren’t my thing) and that’s probably where my enjoyment of this starts and ends. Nevertheless I appreciate it being a genuine rum.
