Famille Ricci Dynasty L'Origine
Vanilla, papaya and a pastry-like sweetness lead here, with just enough light oak to keep it structured. It's a soft, easy five-country blend (Worthy Park and Beenleigh show most on the nose). Several tasters call it round, fruity and genuinely easy to like — though the low ABV and a bit of dilution keep it gentle rather than deep.

How does Famille Ricci Dynasty L'Origine taste?
Aggregated from 37 community reviews.
Soft, fruity, pastry-sweet easy sipper Well-liked as an easy, fruity crowd-starter — vanilla, tropical fruit and viennoiserie. Most agree it's soft and accessible; the common gripe is it drinks thin and short, wishing for higher ABV.

#4941 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Light, balanced, fruity, light caramel, faint dried fruit, faint wood, spice, faint nutts, light mineral. Palate Light, balanced, light dried fruit, light caramel, faint nougat, oily, spice, faint citrus, faint wood. Finish Medium long, fresh, light, faint wood, faint nougat, light raisin, light sugarcane, faint caramel. I would have loved to try this one at a higher ABV..........

Visit Ricci! We started with the Dynasty. This is the second batch. No added sugar (it was 13g/l for the first batch). Very round and fruity, very accessible, a success. A rum to introduce to those unfamiliar with this world.

10/04/25: Famille Ricci tasting @ TasTToe. Blend of 5 different countries: Australia, Jamaica (WP), Trinidad, Thailand and Guatemala. Aged in ex-wine barrels. Nose: very Worthy Park and Beenleigh, light and fruity. Palate: average, too bad it's diluted. No sign of Trinidad.

Road Rummers S8 T5 Ricci tasting Worthy Park and Beenleigh nose. A bit umami in taste, but really soft rum almost water... It's a blend of 5 countries (Thailand, Guatemala, Trinidad, Jamaica,, Australia) but only found two of them in the nose.

Rhum gourmand est très accessible. Pour amateur et personne souhaitant un rhum accessible pas trop sucré mais bien fait et pour changer des Diplomatico et Don Papa.
