Famille Ricci Rhum Influences No. 1
A Trinidad-Jamaica blend where the Worthy Park side does most of the talking — banana, passion fruit and lively spice up front, with round vanilla, caramel and a little tobacco underneath. It reads light and sweet-leaning despite no added sugar, and the alcohol pokes through a bit sharp. Most tasters call it an easy, everyday blend with real character rather than a serious sipper.

How does Famille Ricci Rhum Influences No. 1 taste?
Aggregated from 36 community reviews.
Light, fruity everyday Trinidad-Jamaica blend Well-liked as an easygoing daily blend with tropical fruit, vanilla and spice. Common gripe: it drinks light with a short finish, and several wished for a higher ABV.

As always, the Wolf Pack have done their homework and come up with a super-affordable rum that's full of flavor, with lots of fruit, exotic and dry, and a hint of tobacco and coffee that add complexity and deliciousness, so it's great value for money. The bottle didn't survive!

Smells smoky (cigar), burning aftertaste

I love this nose with soft milk chocolate, caramel, and vanilla right from the first sniff. Spices, fruit, and some medicinal notes come out after opening. On the palate, it's thick, with rich buttery caramel and vanilla. The mild spices like nutmeg take up much more space than on the nose. It's also spicy on the tongue. A "winey" note is clearly present. The finish is medium to long on caramel, chocolate, that famous winey note, and a slight bitterness.

#4463 11.11.2023 Enjoying a few samples before I have to give a tasting close to my home. Advantage is I can walk there and back really fast so I can participate as well. This is a pretty good blend especially wheb looking at the price tag. I would have loved a higher ABV though. Medium fruity with nice spices and roasted wood. Light profile because of the ABV. Short to medium finish with some dried fruit.

A fairly easy Ricci blend. The influences of both origins are clearly present and complement each other rather harmoniously. The Trinidad rum brings roundness and pastry notes, while the Jamaican rum brings fruit and acidity. All this with a pleasant woodiness. The alcohol is a little too sharp. Quite nice.

Good value for money. A specific mini-cask heating and aging process that enhances the blend. The Jamaican characteristics are much more present than those of Barbados. Tropical fruits, vanilla, bright spices. Fresh fruit juice and smoke on the nose. Lots of spices on the palate, giving way to fresh tropical fruits. I find a hint of soft caramel on the palate. PS: The alcohol is still very present for a 46% reduction, reflecting the youthful exuberance of the selected juices.

10/04/25: Famille Ricci tasting @ TasTToe. Blend of TDL (70%) and Worthy Park (30%). Aging in ex-wine and cognac barrels. Nose: especially WP, sweet. Palate: light and sweet. Rather short finish, would've loved a higher ABV.
