Grays Arcane Delicatissime Grand Gold
Anyone chasing a soft, sweet, easy pour will find a lot to like here: cane juice, vanilla, coconut and banana over a floral, herbal base. Several tasters call it light and mild, a touch Grand Marnier-esque, good on its own or with cola. Just don't expect depth — a few find it thin, spiced-up and a little synthetic.

How does Grays Arcane Delicatissime Grand Gold taste?
Aggregated from 108 community reviews.
Sweet, light cane rum with vanilla and coconut People are genuinely split. Sweet-rum and beginner drinkers enjoy the vanilla-coconut ease; cane-juice purists find it thin, overly spiced and lacking depth. Notably pleasant to some, "disgusting" to a rare few.

Probably one of the worst rums I've ever tasted. The spices added to the base make for an unharmonious and, to put it bluntly, bad combination. I find it disgusting. I'd rather throw my bottle away! 🤢

Tasted this rum at a Master Class during Sweden Rumfest 2025. It’s a young rum made from pure cane juice that’s aged for just 18 months in oak barrels. The nose is fresh, vegetal and spicy with hints of vanilla and oak. At the palate it’s sweet, fruity, spicy and quite intense with flavors of herbs, fruits, coconut, almonds and a strong taste of vanilla. The finish is medium long. Overall an OK rum, but it can’t compete with cane juice rum made in the Caribbean or in Reunion.

I really like this rum, unlike the community :) Nice spicy, herbal taste. I think you can enjoy this rum very well on its own. But it's also great as a long drink with cola.

Very thin, little flavor. Light vanilla and banana.

Part of 1423 "24 days of rum" Christmas rum-calendar. The initial scent I got here was sugar cane, and in the notes it tasted synthetic. I got some hints of berries and spices. Not a huge fan of this one

24 Days of Rum 2023, Blue Edition, Day 6 Agricole is simply not my kind of rum, and Arcane couldn't change that. However, its rich herbal aromas create the impression of a light herbal liqueur.

Intense floral notes, but with no depth and extreme lightness, it feels like drinking a perfume

A very present pinewoody nose. Some bitter and fruity hints here and there. Interesting. Not like any New Groves I tasted before. Red fruits in the flavour. Pretty sweet too. Bitter oranges. Light and mild. A bit Grand Marnier-esque. Coconut.

Sixth day of 24 days of rum and sixth sample. Nose is fresh, sweet with herbal tones. 👅 is sweet with caramel, vanilla and spicy elements (probably ginger) all with slight hint of herbal and earthy feeling. Overall a decent sipper. Short to medium finish with coconut 🥥 at the back of the tongue.

Un de mes premier rhum en découverte et jamais déçus. Goût banane coco vanille Très gourmand et goût qui change en fonction de sa température. Ou si on ajoute quelques gouttes de citron, un nouvel arôme arrive au premier plan.

Sample no.6 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Typical sugar cane juice rum on the nose but a little bit on the lighter side. Some sweet caramel with the vegetal notes. Palate is rich in sugarcane and spices. Vanilla and banana comes through. A bit dry on the tounge after a few seconds. I’m usually not a fan of sugarcane juice rums but this was better than expected. Not that strong tequila-ish smell and taste and not as pungent or fermented either.

To floral and fresh for me. Sweet to.

Überraschend spannend in der Nase. Floral im Generellen, ölige Limette, Karamell, Bergamotte, etwas Banane, etwas Lackfarbe. Am Gaumen sehr süß, klar gezuckert. Gebrannte Zucker, kantig eingebundener Alkohol. Etwas Vanille und Banane, leider nicht viel mehr.

Lehce ostrý, chuť čerstvé cukrové šťávy, ovocné, mírně dřevité

Uhlazene, ale zvlastne sladke i nesladke. Jemny konec, ale pro me nezajimave.
