Thompson Bros. Clarendon 2007
Anyone who likes their Jamaican pot still dry and a bit odd will find something here. Clarendon (Monymusk) in a lean, light-coloured style: glue and solvent on the nose, then bergamot, pear and black tea, with a chamomile note one member linked to their grandma's garden. It runs very dry — several call it astringent. Rewards a splash of water and some patience.

13.11.2020 A cosy evening at home with some friends and good rum. Notes Light in colour. Nose Light wood, solvents, fruity, faint licorice, pineapple, faint chocolate, light tea. Palate Warm, light wood, solvents, fruity, banana, light earthy, naturally sweet, spicy. Finish Long and warm, light wood, fruity, faint floral, tea, light chocolate.

Too dry... The nose is very promising... But in mouth it is not the same music... Disappointment.

Pretty fruity yet musty Moneymusk. Pot still probably. Not an easy one. Definitely not for everyone. Give it some time. A bit agricoly-esque too.

Okay this brought me back to my grandmas garden where chamomiles grew between our fields. I like when there is some emotion involved when I degustate. So that is why 8 :) Also I sense some glue, polish
