Aroma visualization from community tastings
Bristol Gardel 1992
Not the grassy agricole you might expect from Guadeloupe — the wood and spice run the show here, with red fruit up front. Raspberry and berries on the nose, then dry oak, menthol and a roasted, tobacco-and-coffee finish. One taster even said it reminded them of whisky. Rounded and well put together, though a couple of members found the palate thinner than the lovely nose.

How does Bristol Gardel 1992 taste?
Aggregated from 15 community reviews.
Dry, woody old Guadeloupe with a red-fruit nose A well-liked old Gardel that charms on the nose and drinks round and dry; the recurring gripe is a palate that doesn't quite match the aromas.

06.09.2005 had a meeting with friends and we brought bottles to try out. The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is a beautiful building bustling with life all day long. A must see and visit when in Shanghai. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, wood, berries, raisin, nutts. Palate: round, wood, raisin, iodine, mint, dry, anise. Finish: medium to long, wood, roasted, anise, coffee, dried fruit.
