Agricole drinkers who want the cane-juice grassiness with some age behind it should look here. It's cut grass and fresh herbs up front, then chocolate, licorice, almond and orange peel, with a warm, slightly bitter finish. At cask strength the alcohol shows — several tasters say give it time in the glass and maybe a drop of water. Balanced when it settles, a touch herb-heavy for some.

Tolle Nase. Mandel-Zitrus-Lakritz-Kombi. Typisch für Bielle? Assoziationen zu den Liberation kommt auf, aber etwas trockener. Rund, ausgewogen, Alkohol gut integriert. Eine schöne Kakao-Note kommt durch. Im Mund dann mehr Holzreife. Auch sehr gut. Sehr guter Agricole, das Profil gefällt mir außerordentlich gut. Mit Bielle werde ich mich in nächster Zeit wohl mehr beschäftigen.

gefällt mir richtig gut, viel Schokolade, Sahnebonbon, Gewürze und Gras. Einzig der Alkohol könnte noch etwas besser integriert sein (bei lediglich 7 Jahren im Fass aber auch nicht allzu verwunderlich).

You may need a drop of water or two. Not too bad but needs to rest for a good while before you give it a go. Price to quality is pretty good.

Colore: giallo oro molto carico, gambe belle spesse; ottima viscosità Naso: apertura tipica degli agricole: erba tagliata, acetone, immediatamente seguite da una nota dolce (cioccolato, vaniglia, un pizzico di liquirizia). Si percepiscono anche note di frutta secca (nocciola). L’aggiunta di acqua sprigiona note di spezie (noce moscata e cannella) Bocca: sensazione avvolgente,ottimo il bilanciamento dell’alcol, ritorna il sapore di erba, di agrumi (arancia) poi note dolci di miele e caramello In chiusura, emergono sapori più agri (olive)

Un nez avec un peu d’alcool mais aussi du massepain, des notes végétales et fruitées (ananas). Une bouche avec de l’amertume et du fruité. Une finale un peu courte. Un bon agricole, mais pas mon favori et de loin.

Auch bei diesem Bielle tritt neben dem klassichen Profil der Destillerie für mich eine als störend empfundene Note auf, die ich den Gewürzen zuschreibe. Wirkt dadurch für meinen Geschmack deutlich zu herb, da die Gewürzeinflüsse zu dominant werden. Schade.
