08.03.2024 Tasting with Romhatten. This is cask 167 Retasting and I stick to my score. ----------------------- Nose Alcoholic, wood, varnish, Agricole, light herbs, clove. Palate Warm, alcoholic, light nutts, fruits, light ginger, clove, toffee. Finish Long, spicy, wood, tannins, fruity. Beautiful large slow moving curtains in the glass.

Grundsätzlich hätte das ein echt guter cask strength 2004 Fiji werden können aber die Alkohol Integration ist leider echt miserabel. Mit einigen Tropfen Wasser kommt dann eine schöne aromatik aus Mokka, Karamell, Kräutern und gegrillten Pfirsichen zum Vorschein. Hier wäre eine bereits verdünnte Variante definitiv besser gewesen.
