3rd time returning for a final crack at reviewing this one. Perhaps that speaks to it's complexity, I'm not sure. A fair amount is conjured on the neatly rounded nose. That first burst to me smells like chocolate shavings on a cappuccino. As my nose adjusts I then get a waft of fruits, treacle tart and more familiar Cuban beats of wood and earth. The taste profile condenses the nose and ups the spice, staying rounded if a little bittersweet (through the nuts and apricot) for my preference. The finish leaves me with a satisfying urge to pick nut particles from between my teeth. It cost ~£47 here in Cymru, ordered from The Whiskey Exchange, and it probably justifies that, though I can't fully commit to stock up on it after every empty bottle at that price point.

Kneipe The Rumah Rotterdam April 2026. Geht so dieser Rum, eigentlich mein Profil, da er recht röstig ist. Ist auch relativ holzig, Vanille, Karamell, Kaffee und Schokolade sind auch erkennbar, aber zu dünn dieser Rum.

Everything works together well. Have tasted better rums at this price point but this makes a decent sipper.

exciting coffee aroma, light roast flavors, as well as wood and tobacco. overall harmonious but times again a little too thin and watered down. from the basic profile but really solid.

Klassischer Cubaner mit den typischen Vanille und Karamell-Noten, dazu angenehme holzig-eichige Fassnoten. Weniger charakteristisch als bei Havana (7). Leichte, Milde süße, im Abgang leicht pfefferig. Gut! Drinks: - Pur: 4/5 - Rum Fashioned: 4/5 - Rum Cola: 4/5 - Rum Mule: 3.5/5
