Broxburn Bottlers Ltd Sea Wynde Pot Still Rum
Anyone who loves the oily, licorice-heavy Port Mourant side of Guyana will find their happy place here. It's a Jamaica-Guyana pot-still blend where the Demerara leads — anise, plum, rubber and glue — with just enough Jamaican fruit swinging underneath. One member sums it up: "rubber, glue and everything else that's not supposed to be in rum." At 46% it drinks relaxed, creamy and spicy.

The Jamaica part (LP?, as no esters) is lost, but that doesn't matter, the dominant Guyana part is absolutely drinkable (PM?), great rum (which I had never heard of before), whose 46% is really easy to drink.

Can just rarely make friends with those under 55% 😅 Not so mine.
Review by Oliver
Great nose! The reduction to 46% is not felt here at all. The Guyana portion is quite dominant. Pleasantly creamy and spicy on the palate. Really strong blend! 😍
Review by Andi
Great blend in which the Guyana already trumps, the 46% alcohol suits it well and is completely sufficient. The Jamaica notes are not intrusive and simply resonate a little and give the blend a slight fruitiness, leaving the PM flavor untouched. A really nice sipper.
Review by Jarek
At first I smelled Jamaica, but Guyana pushed past pretty quickly and took over. In terms of taste, Jamaica tends to dominate.
Review by Jakob
Exciting blend of PM (I strongly suspect - I could not find details, so pure guess) and the typical Jamaica fruit tester profile, although not at an excessively high level. PM remains dominant for now, but is increasingly complemented by nice fruitiness. Very successful blend.
Review by Mirco
Very nice and coherent blend. Guyana dominance with beautiful Jamaica accents.

Rubber, glue and everything else that’s not supposed to be in rum. But thankfully it is!
