Bristol Enmore Demerara Rum Enmore Still 1988
Made for people who chase the dry, woody side of Guyana rum — Enmore's wooden still gives you leather, licorice, pencil shavings and dried fruit rather than sweetness. One taster nailed it as a "medicinal mixture" on the nose, in a good way. The recurring gripe is real: bottled at 43%, several felt it too thin and diluted for its age.

Review by Johannes
Very dry, very intense for 43%, leather, pencil, marzipan. You either love it or hate it. I think it's pretty good!
Review by Frank
Dominantly licorice-sweet. Still fruity on the finish. Very nice rum, but unfortunately too flat, too thin due to the dilution to 43%
Review by travel_and_rum 🇧🇪 Christophe Klubert
Despite the reduction, the rum expresses itself after a little opening. The crème brûlée and the apple in head. A rather long finish on the apple
Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
A pretty good rum also a bit thin but price to quality is pretty good. The nose is woody with fruits, spices and a light leather note. The palate is oily and woody with fruits, spices, leather and licorice. The finish is medium long and woody with spices and raisin.
