An iconic bottle that marked the turning point for the modern age of rum! I love the old barbancourts from the 80s on down but I have to say that unfortunately this rum is the least strong of them all.... 25 years in cask perhaps dulled all the flavors a bit and the wood overpowers everything! A small disappointment as a liquid but it remains a bottle that marked an era!

First Haiti rum with added molases that I tasted. It is not so bad. And I love to have the experience with old style rums. Thumbs up!
