Sipped neat, this drinks like a rum built for bourbon lovers: vanilla, caramel and toffee up front, a bourbon-glue note on the nose, and wood, baking spice and a bit of apple underneath. Several tasters call it "so round, fruity, sweet" with the 54.2% tucked in nicely. Not the most complex pour, but everything hangs together and the young age barely shows.

Very delicious rum. It‘s a sweet one with some impact of the barrel and roasted nuts. The alcohol is integrated very well.

A very nice release and they did really well when it comes to integration of the ABV. I'd say it comes of as a mild rum with nice fruity flavours complemented by spice, wood and lovely toffee.

Sample taken from the Kursch stand at the Pueblo del Ron in Nuremberg. Nice bourbon sticky nose with caramel. No further surprises on the palate, but everything is very solid. If you like bourbon, you'll like this too.

In the nose first of all inconspicuous. Clearly fruity spicy it goes off. In the mouth then strong spicy with nicely integrated alcohol. I also imagine an apple impact. Crass surprise honestly.
